Atlanta Derby Brats


Atlanta Derby Brats is a Flat Track Derby organization for young women ages 7-17. Atlanta Derby Brats are proud to be affiliated with one of Georgia’s premiere leagues, the Atlanta Rollergirls. Atlanta Derby Brats has members from all over North Georgia from as far as Cobb County, all the way out towards Athens and everywhere in between.

There’s something special about a “Derby Girl!”Atlanta Derby Brats trainers encourage individuality and bolster confidence in young skaters through the sport. We encourage teamwork, positive attitudes, discipline and good values. Some of our girls’ families have told us that roller derby has helped their child focus and live more confidently, doing better in school and in interacting with other young women.

Next Brats Bout

Sunday May 19th. The Atlanta Derby Brats All Stars will be taking on the Tampa Derby Chicks in the 2nd ever travel team bout!
Then sit tight for awesome hometown action as the Killer Sloths take on the Undertakers! This is general admission only. There are no seats in the venue – please bring your LOW chairs for seating. Floor seating and standing room will also be available. Come celebrate the hard work, time and energy these young ladies have put in to learning the sport of roller derby! We welcome skaters of all skill levels, ages 7-17. Many of our girls hadn’t put on a pair of skates before (or it was a long time ago), but you wouldn’t guess by watching them compete! Our skaters start with skating and derby basics and later move up into positional blocking. Once they’ve mastered balance, control and the art of safely falling, our skaters continue into full-contact blocking. As always, safety comes first with Atlanta Derby Brats and we always ensure that skatersare ready for the challenges that are presented to them, both mentally and physically.

Come out and try one of the world’s fastest growing sports! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never skated before or if you are an expert on wheels. We are always looking for new girls to join the Brats.Getting started is easy. You will need to fill out a couple forms and make sure that you get the equipment!
