There’s something special about a “Derby Girl!”Atlanta Derby Brats trainers encourage individuality and bolster confidence in young skaters through the sport. We encourage teamwork, positive attitudes, discipline and good values. Some of our girls’ families have told us that roller derby has helped their child focus and live more confidently, doing better in school and in interacting with other young women. |

We welcome skaters of all skill levels, ages 7-17. Many of our girls hadn’t put on a pair of skates before (or it was a long time ago), but you wouldn’t guess by watching them compete! Our girls are trained in “positional blocking,” which is a fancy term for “getting in the other team’s way!” Once they turn 18, they can join the Atlanta Rollergirls, where they learn to block others with their bodies. |
Come out and try one of the world’s fastest growing sports! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never skated before or if you are an expert on wheels. We are always looking for new girls to join the Brats.Getting started is easy. You will need to fill out a couple forms and make sure that you get the equipment!
